Its alright to be picky. Nothing wrong with it. As you get older, it’s important to evaluate your friendships or inner circle. Sometimes your circle decreases in size, but increases in value.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣You need surrounded with people who gives you healthy or serving a positive purpose. Why? Because you don’t need more drama in life. Be kind to everyone but for sure you need to draw boundaries with a kind of people that you might think a toxic, who seems to thrive on that drama and is constantly sucking you into it, it may be cause for concern. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣To me, friendship is being your genuine of yourself. Ups and downs. No need sugar coated or be someone else. Friendship is being able to have hard conversations and willing to listen. Friendship is looking out for each other so we don't repeat the same mistakes. Friendship is telling them like it is when they're blinded and can't think straight. Friendship is telling them they're there for you while waiting for you to calm down. Close friendships involve valuing the thoughts and emotions of another person. An important part of friendship is give and take. Sometimes you’re going to need some extra TLC, and sometimes they will. Let me introduce you to one of my good friend, @anatawa. Last weekend we celebrate her hen’s party. Cant believe she’s getting married! 💕💃🏻⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣I knew her because she was my Airbnb host back then 2017 in Bali. She was soooo nice and friendly. Didn’t expect we become close after that. Take me for awhile to mingle with new people or group. I admiring her story how did she start her career and own business, guest house. She’s smart, pretty, creative, and practical. Her determination and effort shows how hard and detail she is. I kinda related because we also have same issue start everything from zero. Literally zero. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣What I learn from her; if you set your goal, knowing what you want, you’ll get it. No matter what and how struggle it was. We don’t have sugar daddy to get our dreams come true. We become our own sugar mommy for ourselves. Then she became Art Director in one of big digital agency in Singapore for about 10 years. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣It’s important to have inspiring friends around you. Not for jealousy or feel intimidating but to motivate to set your goal and dreams. Nothing wrong with dreaming unless you just let it be dreams without work on it. I learn so muucchh from you, sist. Thanks @andarakirei for my flawless makeup and a friendship.Completion-nya suka banget, gak berasa pake apa2. Padahal tadi berlapis2. Aku selalu dibilang dan dinasihatin oleh beberapa orang kayak gini, “you have to do something beyond, something that wowed someone dan unexpected”. And yeah....I’m definitely agree with that. Plus, I want to add that, “don’t stay at your comfort zone” gak cuman untuk permasalahan pekerjaan, tapi juga masalah kehidupan lainnya. Seperti: Relationship with someone, friendships, dan jati diri kita yang asli. Terkadang kita merasa dan berpikir bahwa, “ah pokoknya gw harus positive, biar gak diomongin”, well sebenarnya believe it or not, mau sebaik, setulus, seprofessional apapun, pasti juga ada aja yang ngomongin dari belakang dan itu perkataan negatif. Sad and tragic.

Ini juga permasalahan yang dialami oleh beberapa creators juga (mau youtube atau Instagram). Punya grup yang katanya support each other and positive, tapi kok bisa ngomongin satu sama lain ya? Nggak semua paham profesi-profesi yg lahir di era milenial. Nggak semua orang aware akan keberadaannya.Orangtuaku termasuk salah satunya.
