Expectation : Fang Bing Bing in The Empress of China.Reality : Na Cha (Ne Zha / Chun Li 🤣🤣🤣. Anyway, i've discovered in the past year that i love to recreate makeup looks and adapt it to my own style, this light Chinese Opera eye makeup really was inspired by Fang Bing-Bing's look in The Empress of China, using very muted and light color but still emphasizing in the fluid, Chinese Opera singer eye makeup style. I purposefully wanted to make my eyes look more slanted and small but it's not as easy as making my eyes look bigger 🙈, due to the shape of my eyes that are already rounded in the first place. It's yet another simple look but i love how it turned out and the effect it created. So happy that there are more and more Instagrammable cafes (that are content creator friendly) sprouting in East Surabaya area (it used to be so sparse in this part of the town), the recent one that i visited being @talkandbrew 😍.While the indoor area's very small, the outdoor is pretty spacious but most of the table would be closed if it's raining because there's no canopy. It's a simple but highly photographic place, with affordable price tag and friendly staff who wouldn't mind you taking endless pics (incl endorsement pics!).As always, when there are such pretty and friendly cafe, i ask for my fellow content creators to be respectful as well so they will continue to welcome us (i know there are a lot of mannerless selebgrams who gives all of content creator a bad name!!!!!). ORDER, help spread the word about them, tag them on your stories and photos, don't make other customers feel uncomfortable and if there are others waiting to take pics at the same spot, don't hoard it! Simple but it shows that we are educated, well mannered breed too. Bales2 nya pun takes time 😭🙏 Akhir2 ini Yuki harus pinter2 bgt bagi waktu, pikiran, di berbagai bidang yg beda2. Dan ngelakuin banyak tanggung jawab sehari2 jg, harus belajar juga, dll. I've tried my best utk tetap aktif berkarya. Meskipun agak selow krn harus bener2 bagi waktu dan sering ngerasa ga ada energi. Tiap hari Yuki tidur jam 5-6 pagi bangun jam 8-9 pagi. Krn banyak yg harus dikerjain jd harus pecah fokus tanpa mengurangi esensi dan kualitasnya..Am i too serious? Tp Yuki harus ngejar byk hal supaya bisa terealisasi di tahun depan. Dan Yuki byk ngelewatin kesempatan kecil2 disekitar krn terlalu fokus ke proses. Honestly when concepting for this look, the inspo that i wanted to recreate is a pic of a girl wearing a full masquarade mask ada the makeup is super simple, just pure, rich gold glitter on her lids and dark red lips.

But when it comes to execute it.. well, it's not that easy 😆. First of all, my mask is a real, legit masquarade ball mask from Venice (i had to sadly cut the tags off finally so i could take these pics haha) and it comes with a ribbon tie and it's quite heavy, actually wearing it is not comfortable and pretty hard to adjust. Even tying it on is a stuggle as we couldn't really figure out the best fit.

Second of all, the eye holes of my mask is a lot smaller than i expected, it couldn't even fit my dramatic lashes! So small that you can't see the eye makeup almost at all 😞 so finally i gave up and added the gold leafs to mimic a mask shape around one of my eyes area (i already planned to pose with the mask covering the other eyes and i simply couldn't be bothered to apply on the other side as well 🤣🤣🤣).

As I promised for quite a while now, review of @dazzleme.beauty.official
Eyeshadow palette in Star/Mystery is here. After using it multiple times, I'm finally making up my mind about it 😁.

Color palette wise, I personally find this variant the most attractive out of the 3 variants available, if you love warm colors with sunset vibes - this one is for you. Containing 12 shades, ranging from matte, shimmer to glitter, the size is pretty small and compact. The palette is made of sturdy cardboard material, making it travel friendly.

Texture wise, I find a lot of the shades to be very buttery and smooth, some bit harder and chalkier than others. Pigmentation is medium, nothing too impressive but nothing to be frustrated about. Some are a bit weak (some of the shimmer shades are very weak and that really shocks me as usually the shimmers are a lot more pigmented in most palettes, on the contrary most of the darker matte shades are very nice. The glitter shade, Enigma, is beautiful and pigmented, probably my fave out of the palette) so you would need to apply a lot, but this also means that the palette is beginner friendly. All of the shades are blendable and I didn't find any to be patchy.

To be completely honest with you, my feelings for the palette? Just fine. I'm not blown away or anything, and if I have to pay the full price of the palette then I probably wouldn't - but they do go on promo all the time, and when they do, I think it's worth a try. I actually already purchased a second palette, would you like me to do a review and swatches of the second one as well? Please let me know coz I'd love to do it you are keen!

The only hair care that i can be bothered with is hair serum (i don't even use hair mask or conditioner anymore 😂) and i usually used whatever i have around and they seemed to work okay, but when i finally try @amosprofessional_official is when i realize the difference between a so so hair serum/oil and a GOOD one 🙈.

Amos Professional's True Repair Essential Oil is, well, a hair oil that works the same as hair serums. It has a light, non greasy texture that get absorbed into my hair easily (and leave no stickiness nor greasiness on both my hair and my hands), has a luxe, lovely scent (honestly whenever i just pump it, it would smell kinda funky but after i rub it, the true scent would come out. I don't know why and it happens everytime) and leave my hair super smooth, tangle free and easy to comb.

As you may already know, i've been dyeing my hair again lately and using the home dyeing kits could means dry, damaged hair - but i encounter no such problem at all. Instead my hair is much healthier, softer and even the bleached bits are no longer frizzy, the only hair care that i use is this True Repair Essential Oil, so i totally believe it to be the culprit!
