Beberapa hari yang lalu aku ikut private workshopnya @petalsandvine & belajar merangkai bunga dalam rangka Mother’s day. Awalnya sempet panik, soalnya nggak ngerti sama sekali soal soal merangkai bunga ini 😅. Thanks to @elizazachandra & @petalsandvine akhirnya aku bisa ngerangkai bunga sendiri, walaupun hasilnya nggak terlalu bagus hihihi. But i’m so proud of myself 😁😁

Being too perfectionist will kill me slowly but sure. - I set absolute ideals, i'm my harshest criticus. I beat myself ip over the smallest thing that goes wrong. I feel i like i must give more than 1000% on everything i do, working hard trying to be perfect, too perfect.
I pay attention for every details, even smallest details that no one notice, unless me.
Being perfectionist is good, sometimes. But being too perfectionist will kill me slowly but sure. The pursuit of perfection is frustating, neurotic and terrible wasting of time.

It wasn't my first time attending a wedding alone by myself. I was all cheer up and assured myself that I would be fine because there would be plenty of my friends I met.-Yes, I wasn't alone. But I feel lonely somehow. So I sat there, on the corner that used to be the bar, and starred at the mirror. I ask myself, "Do you act all strong again?" and I immediately answered "Yes. I need to get used to this."-Then a little part of my heart began to question, is he really the one that worth the wait? I nod, doubtly. I'm not sure. But I believe in God's plan. So, whoever they are, if they are meant to stay and be in our life, they won't just leave us like that.

I wanna tell you a reflection. Call me a naive, but it happened to me. For these past few years, I've been telling myself that I was lost right when I hit 22. It feels like everything stopped right in that age.-At the beginning, I thought that I've been trapped. But no, I chose this and I still do. Maybe a part of me feel like I'm being left out, but some parts feel like this is the phase of growing. I might lost, but I'm still aware of myself. This is I choose and what God tell me to do when I already take this option. So, actually, I'm not that lost.-Feeling that my age stopped in 22 is because probably I regret of the choices I took before. From now on, I don't. I'm already in the phase where I take full responsibilty of all the options that I choose. No need to be upset about because this is who I really am. In order to be in this phase, I need to feel lost to recognize that these are all worthy at the end of the dat.-Out there, there are SO MANY better options for my life. The question will be, will I take them in order to challenge myself to be better?

Terkadang orang malu sama bentuk badannya sendiri, nyalahin diri sendiri (bahkan orang lain) kenapa punya bentuk badan yg gak sesuai keinginan.

Stop. Udahlah. Maafin diri kalian dan cobalah menerima diri sendiri. Aku pernah di posisi blaming myself seperti itu, mau ngapain pun malu.

Sekarang? Setelah memaafkan diri sendiri dan menerima diri sendiri, aku berdiri di sana. Bersama 4 wanita dengan inspirasi yg hebat.

Kita gak pernah tau berapa kesempatan yg kita tutup karena gak percaya diri sama diri sendiri. Seandainya aku masih malu, mungkin malam itu aku gak berdiri di sana. Kerjaanku paling mantengin akun gosip. 🤣 Perbedaan yg sangat besar antara diriku tahun ini dengan 2 tahun lalu.

Jadi bagaimana? Sudah siap untuk lebih menerima diri sendiri?

Everyday i get reminded that everything has its time. Its that time for others, but it may not for me. There's a reason for everything, and maybe i just not ready yet. Timing aside, the only things i could do rn are keep improving myself and breath. Just breath.
Good night, get some rest.
