Omed-omedan, also known as 'The Kissing Ritual', 💏is a ceremony held by the young people of Banjar Kaja Sesetan, Denpasar, Bali. The name is derived from the Balinese language and means pull. It originates from a fight between a male and female pig and represents the push and pull of positive and negative elements. Omed-omedan involves unmarried youths with ages ranging from 17 to 30 years old. This ceremony has become a meeting place for singles. 😉 The procession begins with the youths praying together to invoke safety. After the prayer, the men and women separate. The groups face each other on the main street. With the signal of a Hindu leader, both sides approach the center of the road. Happy International Women's Day! 💃🏻 Yep, that was me when I was very little. Surprised? Don't be. I used to be a tomboy, and still a bit of it. 🤗 Here's what I want to say in this special day: I love it when my skin is getting super tanned because I got the chance to travel to beautiful places in Indonesia although many people might say that my skin doesn't look nice because I look like a villager or even a beggar. 🙄 I love it when I'm getting a little chubbier because I got a chance to taste various food from all over Indonesia although some people say I look super fat and ugly. 😪 Just like what my role model @iskra said, #everyBODYisbeautiful. Women can be pretty as they are without having to be as skinny as others and having fair skin as people want them to be. ❤ And for those who say that women should dress in certain way and so on, STOP! @domahyogya located in the middle of the public village of tembi - bantul in south of Yogyakarta .. no wonder they have a perfect living place to stay while you are in Yogyakarta.. . . This is my first time to stay in here and me love it! . . They have a natural garden with mini river pass trough their heaven on earth..
