Time sure flies so fast, it's D-4 Christmas and almost the end of 2017 already. I always write a blogpost about some highlights happened in one year, on the very last day of every year. Now before we get to that point, let me share some things I feel grateful for this year first. I'm so glad to be surrounded by supportive people, especially my family and friends, who let me know that I'm unique and no need to be the same with others, nor following the "standard". I made the best decision to visit Japan this year, it made me realized that my dreams are not really that impossible after all. And thanks to that trip, I learned to believe in myself more. Saw those おしゃれ (stylish) people in Tokyo was inspiring and I ended up can express myself better now 💖 Think more of positive thoughts (I know it's hard sometimes tho) and learn to know what's the best for me, that's how I can glow and grow today 🤗🤗 #THANKYOU2017HELLO2018 @thisisapril_ @votre_peau .

Sitting on the plane earlier made me think about a lot of things and as usual my thoughts just ran wild. So this is how it goes: ...These days we're somehow forced and pressurized to be better every single day! However most of us like to get it wrong and focused more on the competition and how to improve themselves just to feel superior over another or making another person as their target or standard to feel accepted in general once they've become like one. This whole concept is so tiring and mentally draining for me personally. Cause I feel no matter how hard you try you can't never be the other person. You're you and they're them! Its not up to them but its up to you. How you see things shape the person you become. You can continue to sit in a box and feel so small and hidden because all you've pictured yourself is being small. Break free from your own prison, soar high, go big ! Sprinkle your sparkle everywhere you go and you'll eventually see that its not about other people it has always been you.. and the only person who can do "you" better is your own self.. you're you! So this afternoon my man sent me some great quotes in order to recall one of the most important goals I have achieved in life. Quotes that keep me dream big, that keep my standard high, and quotes that keep me believe in God's will.
I've faced so many things and tears in life that have made to put me down, but I am very ready to climb another obstacle in front of me. There ain't nothing and nobody gonna stop me now.

Have you ever lower your standards/ not doing your best just to meet or fit in the society? To be honest I have!! Sometimes it felt like I'm too much for everyone that I need to lessen myself so that I wont gain too much attention but let me tell you something it's truly foolish to act like that. No one will actually thank you! The bitter fact is that they wont even understand/ notice your sacrifices, you have two options either to continue to shrink and drown or rise ! You'll know your limit and that's when you need to learn to step up for yourself and just shine! Shine as bright as you can and never let being "you" too much for anyone else. Cause we're all flawed no one is actually righteous enough to have the right to point fingers at another.. so mind your own business and live your life! .

#poshplushsamplereview today is about two Clarins products:
🌸 White Plus Tri-Intensive Brightening Serum
🌸 Super Restorative Night Cream

I used these products for around one week, so the review based on my experience during that week.
The serum, although has a light texture and smells lovely, did not give the brightening effect that I expected. Usually I expected a brightening serum to at least evens out my skin tone if not brightens my complexion. But with this serum, my skin stays at status quo 😬
.

The night cream also did not do much except for giving standard hydration. No significant effect since the first time application. The scent a bit of orchid like and I prefer the scent of the serum better because it's more refreshing. The texture is more on to the balmy side instead of creamy, so it did not easily slipped or melted on your face. Less greasy too.
.

Will I buy the full size? I supposed not because I have experienced other products that works better on my skin.

I #advocatefor the right to respect differences and to be mindful of the words you speak! Differences aren't really welcomed in today's society (even though the world has been promoting equality a lot but sadly that's not reality yet) we're often judged and misunderstood for being different may it be differences in perception, thoughts, ideology, race, ethnicity, culture etc. However I stand by the understanding that everyone has the right to feel and be loved no matter what's their size, colour, race, and differences. -
In today's society where the social medias and digital world have been dominating us, creating a whole new tag and standards for the word "beautiful" making it difficult for those who feel that they don't meet the standard and they'll feel insecure and left out ( I know that this is an internal problem for being insecure but we can't close our eyes that it's actually the society and their "made up" standards that have forced people in one way or another to feel inferior about themselves). Just because they fear judgement, mockery and hate that'll flow towards them if they're different, force them to conceal and hide their true abilities and colour just to match with the standard. That leads me to my second point of minding your words as words can be sharper than swords. It might not be a big deal for you but sometimes the words you said intentionally or unintentionally can always be hurtful. -
I personally am seldom when it comes to voicing out my thoughts cause I still experience hard times when it comes to judgment and the negativity, but since it's International Women's Day and thanks to @bellywellyjelly, I decided to voice out my thoughts! Spreading hate is contagious same as love but why be part of so much negativity just to be similar to the world? I choose to stand by the infamous side and stand firm in my decision that it's oke to be small but always remember to be part that uplift and bring positive impact to the surroundings and the world! Be different, Be You and of course Spread Love anywhere you go! .
