It's February already! How's your first month of 2018? Mine is pretty good, I managed to ticked some of my monthly goals. And I'm gonna share another goals of the year: UNLOCK MORE TRAVEL DESTINATIONS 😋 I've been loving traveling since I was a kid, although I actually didn't have that much opportunities to make it happen because of one and another things. As long as I remember, I always get really really excited everytime I visit new places. Thanks to my stubborn heart, I do everything I can to save money (and earn more money) to make my traveling dream come true. After my trip to Japan last Spring, I learned a lot. Like one my friend said to me, traveling is an investment. I also get to know more about the culture, talk to strangers (it's surprisingly fun even for introvert like me!), see beautiful sceneries, and also culinary ♥️♥️♥️ My desire to travel also helps me in saving money and keep me motivated in doing my works and blogging. When you : are not prepared to take photos, wear clothes you wouldn't normally wear for a photoshoot, wasn't happy with your makeup because it doesn't match with your wardrobe (but you have to wear it anyway because of work) and is a total introvert that turns into wood when strangers take your photos... But get a beautiful shot anyway (this took him about 5 minutes btw), you know that the photographer is talented AF 😄. Baju lecek? Yasudahlah.. nama nya juga anak kosan 😅😅 Tapi emang baju nya cepet lecek juga... Dan seperti nya earna kuning masih menjadi salah satu warna favorite! In the end, i finished my year with a bang 😊. I know i know, there's still a week to this year, but you know what i mean. Imma just enjoy holiday and be super lazy from today tho 😄😄😄 i think i derserve it after such a rollercoaster year full of hard work, sweat, tears and back stabbing moments. Anyone who knows me well, know that i am not someone who seeks the limelight. I prefer to take the backseat and be behind the scene, but when the opportunity arises, i do my best to shake all of my insecurities off - to seize my moment, get out of my comfort zone because like my BFF said, that's how you grow. Even for this moment,i was told by someone (who is always not very reliable anyway so maybe i should just let it pass),that i wasn't the first choice. My first thought was,why tell me that? What could you possibly gain from doing that? And when i never flaunt it, should i be subjected to such passive aggresive treatment? My dear friend, in this industry we are in, we often are not the first choice, even if you are the "creme de la creme" like you think you are. And that's okay, that's life. What's not okay is when you say things (whether or not you mean it that way, but really... If u use your brain then you'd know what's ok to say and what's not) that can bring someone down when they are supposed to be enjoying their moment. As someone who's always supportive to my peers, i hope it's just not too much to ask to be treated the same way 😊. I will always support everybody who are kind and true to me, even on stuffs that i was supposed to be the first choice and they got it instead 😛. Most people might think i'm being silly for holding grudges against a passing remarks, but that's exactly what i am doing. I am writing this down to let you know i feel (without having to have a drama with anyone) and letting it go because i want to start the new year on nothing but positivity. All i can say is, i am damn proud of ME, the Mindy from a few years ago would say no to this kind of opportinities because of my introvertness. #ramblings #thoughts #thoughtoftheday #realqueensfixeachotherscrowns #dontbringyourfriendsdown #supporteachother #clozetteid #achievement

People say i'm extrovert but sometimes i'm just like the introvert who like to be alone. I'm happy to spend my time with a cup of coffee, chocolate cake maybe, chilling music, wifi and also my notes. I could drowning in my wild minds or randomly thingking and write about my feelings. It makes me understand about myself a little deep more . There was nothing more relieve after passed through a long-tiring-brokenhearted day, then you arrived home and had someone to talk whom never judge and always listen all the nonsense things come up your head like wishing to get lit with #sensimillia or kissing our own crush. we were talking, laughing, eating indomie and sipping coffee till late night. Aku senang kemarin jadi ketemu @grace.melia! ♥️ . Maklum ya punya temen yang tiap hari ngobrol tapi rumahnya harus banget di Jogja 😪 Untung Gesi banyak job di Jakarta jadi sering ketemu deh hahaha . Buat orang ekstrovert kaya aku, JG, dan @azxylo, ketemu orang itu bikin excited banget. Sampai rumah suka masih bahagia, Xylo malah suka jadi nggak bisa tidur. 😂 . This is our "Valentine with Bestie" look for @bestieinbeauty (by @auzola and @roosvansiaaa ) and @makeupuccino Makeup Competition. We chose sexy look because we are fierce ladies 😄! Jadiii... Aku dan @redhacs ini ngga akan ketemu kalau kami tidak sama2 cinta sama makeup dan blogging.. Pertama kali ketemu di event sebuah brand makeup Indonesia setahun yang lalu (kayaknya hehe) - dan kata Redha dia tuh pertama takut sama aku 😝. Ga nyadar apa dia yah kalau mukanya setipe ma aku alias "resting bitch face" yang selalu bikin orang ngira kami bete setiap saat hahaha! Selain tergabung dengan 1 komunitas yang membuat kami jadi lumayan sering ketemu, aku sama Redha makin dekat karena kami sering chat... Hampir tiap hari deh kayaknya. Dari chat2 ini kami sadar kalo kami mempunyai banyak kesamaan, ga cuma kenyataan bahwa kami addicted dengan semua yang berhubungan dengan beauty (dan pecinta lipstick warna bold) tapi juga dalam hal sifat - we're both extreme introvert yang membuat kami kadang agak sulit membuka diri dengan orang baru, but we sure are happy to find each other! Kegiatan favorite kami berdua tentunya yang berhubungan dengan hobby kami, yaitu menghadiri events together dan juga hunting affordable makeups together 😄! We should be the winner because... Selamat Pagi! . . Kemarin..kami diajak ke Kantor Dinas Pariwisata Beltim. Salah satu hal yang paling menyenangkan dari kunjungan itu adalah berjumpa dengan MonMon (Dan MeMes) .. mereka adalah sepasang Tarsius. Seekor hewan mungil khas Belitung yang kepalanya bisa memutar 180derajat sampai ke belakang. Wow!! . . . Tarsius atau bahasa inggrisnya Tarsier.. Dan disebut Pelile'an di Beltim.. Mereka seumur hidup selalu hidup di pohon, kalau sampai turun ke tanah justru indikasi mereka mendekati ajal. Tarsius adalah hewan yang paaaaaaling setia sama pasangan. Hanya sekali jatuh cinta Dan kawin.. Dan jika pasangannya Mati maka diapun hanya mampu bertahan 4hari Dan menyusul Mati. . . . Mendapat cerita ini di februari.. amazing aja.. . . . Tarsius sebenarnya ada juga di Sulawesi. Dan di sana, Tarsius bisa hidup berkelompok.. Tapi di beltim, Tarsius nya introvert kayanya, soalnya gak bisa bergerombol.. . . . Sudah pernah jumpa Tarsius? We're just some happy-go-lucky girls trying to show some love ❤️ hey you(anyone seeing this), Remember to smile cause you matter and someone out there loves you!! #friendship . . - Before my whole perception of friendship has been shattered due to my past "bad friendship" I've encountered. The one that insulted, bullied, abused(emotionally not physically but it doesn't matter cause both don't feel right and it hurts) and made me feel like I'm not worth it. Over the years as I grow and let time heals me I've started to learn to open up again however I've always love to keep my circle small cause opening up to new people is just a big challenge for me before but now I've learned that not everyone out there is bad and you don't have to be mean or hardened just to be on par with them, just be you and the real ones who love you for you will appear. Then this girl a very talkative and bubbly girl came along and our friendship began to grow💛 apparently our kind of friendship isn't the most common kind of friendship, cause we rarely communicate and we live miles apart. The reason being most of the time she ditched my messages and would take forever to reply😅and vice versa #oops. Moreover after the both of us entered the real working world it just made things far more complex but I'm glad we would still keep track on each other and I'm glad that she'd come to me in times she need someone to talk to. 12 Facts about me: 1. Keras kepala, mostly. Tapi sering mengalah kalau lawan orang yang lebih keras kepala. 2. Pendiam kalau belum kenal. Jadi kalau ketemu aku terus akunya diam aja, berarti kenalannya belum sampai hati hahay. 3. Lacto vegetarian tapi tetep pilih-pilih makanan. Selera makanan berdasarkan tekstur, rasa, sama aroma. 4. Seneng menyendiri, tapi bukan berarti introvert. Mungkin aku lebih ke ambivert kayaknya. 5. Susah ngatur uang. Lagi belajar ngatur uang sama calon suami biar ntar kalau udah jadi istrinya.... dia yang atur uangnya wkwkwk. 6. Seneng nulis. Bisa ngetik 10 jari (sombong ceritanya) hahaha. Makanya kalau nulis postingan blog atau sosmed suka ngabèrèbèt. 7. Suka foto dan difoto meskipun ngga photogenic. Lagi berjuang buat punya kamera mirrorless dan remake kamar buat jadi studio sendiri buat ngeblog dan ngeyoutube. 8. Gampang duplikasiin sifat daddy-nya padahal mukanya muka mommy-nya haha. 9. Suka bikin nama panggilan yang aneh-aneh. Kalau ada yang dipanggil namanya dengan nama eksklusif sama aku berarti kalian sangatlah spesial buatku hoho. 10 Paling ngga bisa jadi karyawan. Sukanya bikin inovasi sendiri, nguyek sendiri, usaha sendiri+sama si doi. 11. Suka banget sama skincare. Kalau abis cuci muka, treatment selanjutnya bisa makan waktu minimal 15 menit. Bakal jauh lebih lama kalau tambah maskeran hihi. 12. Tipe pasangan hidup idaman... alhamdulillah kesampaian tinggal nunggu penantian diresmiinnya aja ehehe. I post this on blog as well for a extended version... check shintalauraswa.blogspot.com :-) btw thanks for @nath_njs who has tagged me ... here are the 20 facts about me that I still memorize, actually there are plenty of other facts that not be written here because the limit ahahhahha 1. truly javanese, brown skinned javanese from all of my family blood. 2. Former skilled painter and fine art "player" 3. Has a phobia to reptiles, if someone wanna know that specifically, I always try to block it out to another topic 4. Skinny all the way, but got a hormone changing in last few years so that finally I get fatter nowadays. 5. Paranoia to the max into some sort of serious illness and bad forecasting. 6. Former Culture and Tourism Ambassador, currently being Culture enthusiast. 7. I do makeup for my own satisfaction, just that. not for anybody. 8. Grantee of one of Excellent Scholarship in Indonesia, but I'm not that kinda excellent, my friend on that scholarship prefer to consult me about makeup and culture than my own college field =_= 9. Extrovertly Introvert :-) 10.
