At exactly this time around 2 weeks ago, I board into Furano Lavender Express Train. It's a seasonal train thar only available during lavender blooming time. It's a yearly experience and for us perhaps, once in a lifetime. The train have all the 'purple' details like any lavender would be and special collectibles. Even thou' this is summer, in Hokkaido during end of June to the first weeks of July. Happy Sunday 😍 Happy family time. We found this charming family stall in #Hakodate morning market right by JR Station. The owner is so friendly and looking at my youngest one doesn't want to eat any seafood (since it was a fresh grilled seafood stall) they gave her super sweet cherries and cake for free. #hakodate from above. It's a quaint city with much less to offer for a city gal like me. But if marathon, nature or mountain is your thing, then this is it, a place to relax and unwind, especially in Yunokawa Onsen area. There's food alright, but in terms of restaurants, is far less than areas such as Kansai or Kanto, but it's an experience we are enjoying at the moment, especially having a mom and children hospital nearby 😅 #hokkaido #travel #japan #triptojapan #summervacation #love #ClozetteID #cityview #trip
