Hello everyone! Did you know that a little changes can make you feel better and also help many people out there? 🌸💗 I was talking about kindness, which is very easy and very achievable acts that have a domino effect. Doing something nice for someone, treating them with respects, and talking nicely are some easy examples. But sadly, everybody knows how to be kind, and yet so many people seem not to be capable of it 🙅🏻 And for you who are wondering where am I going for these past few weeks, I was feeling really down about everything and decided to step outside of the online world to practice self-care. In another side, I was feeling upset to see a lot of hate posts and messages on social media nowadays, where it should be a place where creativity and inspirations belongs, not a source of negativity and toxic 😷 I know we can't dictate what other people share on their account. But you can be the change, don't be affected by the negativity around you both offline / online. Start sharing and doing something that motivates and make you feel good. Who knows maybe one of your kind gesture to stranger can lift up their spirits and give hope to people? ✨ And as the blessed month of #Ramadhan begins, I'd like to encouraged you to try 30 days challenge of kindness, 1 acts per days is enough, such as talk respectfully, treat others kindly, help those who need it, and also try to complain less and compliment more. (You don't need to post anything, just keep your positive act to yourself 😊) Because I believe a little acts of kindness can make a big difference. Being kind can make you happier, and in return your kindness towards other can make them happier. Just want to express some of my thoughts. I've read a lot of articles about body positivity (yeah, I DO have issues with it), about how we should love our body in whatever state/shape it is, how we should ignore the 'standard', etc. But in the end, I think that IF we can change for the better, why not? If there's anything I can do to look better and make me feel happier, why should I stay at current state? The important point here is: Do it because you love your body, not because you hate your body. Few days ago i just filled out a questionnaire from some agency that i am under, and one of the question is about my motivation for blogging. I am proud to say that i can answer the question with the same answer that i have when i first started, that i blog because i love to write and to share - the fact that i have a lot more readers, brand recognitions and often even get paid to do it is an added bonus. I will still write and share even if nobody send me free stuffs or pay me to write. Can you, the newer batch or bloggers and so called influencers say the same? (don't get offended, if you can then good for you, i am proud of you because trust me, we are a rare and dying breed) I have been blogging for over 5 years now, i have my ups and down, i have been looked down, brushed off, overlooked and ignored by many - but i am still here, stronger than ever, happier than ever, and living my dreams. Doing my routines had really consumed me. I forget to take care my own soul and enjoy the times in between...When baby sleeps, i quickly manage my feeds and blog or tidy up stuffs and many other things to do... 24 hrs is too short. I put aside all the hobbies and think that “maybe this is not the time.. let’s do this again in the future coz i got no time now”But i was wrong. Squeezed in the hobby in between rekindles the life! Hmm mumpung masih January nih, masih sah lah ya share resolusi tahun 2018 😊... di tahun ini aku ingin lebih merawat diri, lebih kind to myself dan no longer an overachiever but to take life to the fullest in the best way 'smell the roses along the way' kinda gal. There's so many things to be grateful for than pursuing something that perhaps cuma bersifat sementara. Focusing on happiness and be a peacemaker. Tahun ini juga mau lebih sehat, jadi lebih jaga makan dan sempet2in jalan (jalan alias traveling 😁), like see more and explore more, sometime somehow dengan 'keluar' dan lihat kehidupan orang lain I learn to be humble and lebih considerate. Aku akan mulai dari hal-hal sederhana seperti tidur lebih awal, like perhaps 10 pm max, lalu wake up early and walk under the sun to get vit D. It was said that people then to be happier when they get enough sleep, jadi tidur itu penting. In everything and everyway, try to see everything in bigger picture and for the long run, jadi aku belajar sabar saat ada hal yang tidak terduga terjadi and believe in personal growth.Semoga di tahun 2018 ini aku bisa mencapai goal resolusi aku diatas 😘... how about yours? The problem with our digital era is that most people think it's oke to voice out their thoughts 💭 even if it's gonna hurt another. These days We lack compassion as all we think off is short sighted and only feeds the current ego. It allows people to feel that they have the liberty to judge, hate or even try to make the other person feel bad about themselves with their own justification.
