Last night I was screening my followers and this account caught my eyes, I was silent. I feel connected. Her bio was written: STOP CALL ME FAT. I know I AM! ⁣ ⁣ How society somehow so mean to people who’s not as pretty as advertorial? People are easier to judge and say bad things to other without second thoughts. Stop contribute to people misery. Why I say that? Because it makes them stop give theirselves the love they deserve. Those who do not live according to beauty standards nowadays, are forced to think it’s their fault that they are too fat or too skinny or too dark. They desperate of feel accepted. How successfully beauty ads selling female consumer “hope in a jar”. Beauty ads has traditionally been one of the worst offenders for embellishing reality & selling women idealised and restrictive forms of perfection. They shaping the definition of beauty into young, thin, white, flawless models. How to achieve instant beauty, not to mention beauty plus apps (Ops!). All women obsessed to look as good as the ads. In reality, not all of us born with it. ⁣ ⁣ The reason I started blogging bcoz I have imperfection. I used to be dull, acne prone, etc. I also got bullied from my colleagues, high school friends just because I’m not white, have acne. Don’t you know how struggle for people who having fluctuate hormonal changing? Don’t you know they really try to fix it? From that moment I’ve been trying all skincare. My face and my life are not that perfect like my feed. Sometimes this happen. But this is me. I’m not too different with anybody else. I have acnes, pimples, but I embrace it. I’m not try to cover it. What makes me different is my personality. 😊 ⁣ ⁣ Now, the definition of beauty is shifting and no longer feel relevant in the modern age. The bright of the morning brings a certain unease but I focus on my breath and each sense in turn. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I close my eyes. It’s too late, talk me to myself. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I become more intensely aware of my feelings in this experience. ⁣⁣ The smell of the fresh air. The uneven grass beneath my feet. ⁣⁣ The white that seem to glisten in the blue sky. I touch the dew on the leaf. ⁣⁣ The distinctive chirping of the birds fades hauntingly across the sky. ⁣⁣ They sang in unison. While I cannot see him, I can feel him. 𝓓𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓶𝓹𝓾𝓪𝓷,⁣⁣When you slept late, I woke up early , ⁣When you're drunk, I sweat , ⁣when you danced at the party I worked out! 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻⁣⁣Banyak yang tanya, gimana sih kulitnya mulus? Gimana biar warna kulit wajah nggak belang? ⁣⁣Ya gimana mau punya Kulit bagus kalo pake sunblock aja males. Sometimes people—are genuinely interested in hearing what’s going on with you and sometimes they aren’t looking for details; they’re just being polite.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣Dealing with this pressure to always seem happy can be even more challenging, as a lot of days are low. Sometimes when we are feeling down, we put on a mask to hide the darkness that lies behind the smile. Getting out of bed can be a major task by itself. When it feels as though a cloud is hanging over our heads, those are the days we push people away the most.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣When a low day hits that doesn’t mean you have to shut out what you are truly feeling inside. Remember you are not alone and you are not bothering others; everyone in life has problems. That doesn’t mean you are adding to another person’s own problems if you share how you are feeling. You are not a burden. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth 🥄🥄 🥄, growing up without one either...⁣⁣I was forced to grow up before my age without a dad’s figure as he passed away when I was in my mom’s tummy. Moved out from our comfort zone after 17 years and trying to figure things out. 🗣 Helo! I’M BACK!⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Walau enggak pada kangen. Tapi tak apalah~ Coba diswipe buat liat muka Kasandra lagi jadi mpok Minah. 😌⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ A little story to tell, kalau aku tuh pendek. Cuma 157cm. Kulit cokelat lebih ke item. Kulit wajah kusam, berminyak dan berjerawat. Kalau ngikutin cantiknya orang-orang, aku jauh dari cantik. Sering dibully waktu jaman SMP sampai kerja karena aku terlalu kontras dengan teman-teman yang putih susu, cantik, tinggi, langsing. 💆🏻‍♀️⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Sempet aku ngerasa frustasi. Dan mempertanyakan, ⁣⁣ "kok aku beda ya?" ⁣⁣ "kok aku ndak putih?"⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Lingkungan kadang bikin kita jadi nggak percaya diri atau malah menyalahkan keadaan. Thats what we call, toxic people. Padahal yang ngatain belom tentu fisiknya cakep-cakep banget! ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Ada. Ada disuatu kesempatan I’m not that confidence. But if you meet me now. I would be happy to tell; 𝗜 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. 😊 ɪ’ᴍ ɴᴏᴛ ᴘᴇʀfᴇᴄᴛ, ʙᴜᴛ ᴛʜɪs ɪs ᴡʜᴏ ɪ ᴀᴍ. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ But by the time, satu hal yang aku pelajari, love yourself. Accepting what you have. And do some improvement. Untungnya aku nggak sampai pengin suntik putih, minum deterjen, atau iris-iris kulit. I learn about how to appreciate your body with treat yourself well. Caranya? Mulai tuh sedikit-sedikit belajar tentang skincare, sedikit-sedikit ganti gaya rambut, sedikit-dikit walau nggak punya duit banyak ya facial lah. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Buat aku, menyayangi diri sendiri itu bukan hanya menerima kekurangan aja. Tapi juga merawatnya. Cara ngerawat aku salah satunya dengan Photo Facial Acne di @zapcoid. Rangkaian baru terdiri dari Active Acne Laser, Acne Rejuvenation, dan Oxy Infusion. Karena muka aing tuh ya jerawatan maneh.
