Happy International Women's Day! 💃🏻
Yep, that was me when I was very little. Surprised? Don't be. I used to be a tomboy, and still a bit of it. 🤗
Here's what I want to say in this special day:
I love it when my skin is getting super tanned because I got the chance to travel to beautiful places in Indonesia although many people might say that my skin doesn't look nice because I look like a villager or even a beggar. 🙄
I love it when I'm getting a little chubbier because I got a chance to taste various food from all over Indonesia although some people say I look super fat and ugly. 😪
Just like what my role model @iskra said, #everyBODYisbeautiful. Women can be pretty as they are without having to be as skinny as others and having fair skin as people want them to be. ❤
And for those who say that women should dress in certain way and so on, STOP! Women have their own lives, and its their rights to choose for themselves. ✨

I #advocatefor the right to respect differences and to be mindful of the words you speak! Differences aren't really welcomed in today's society (even though the world has been promoting equality a lot but sadly that's not reality yet) we're often judged and misunderstood for being different may it be differences in perception, thoughts, ideology, race, ethnicity, culture etc. However I stand by the understanding that everyone has the right to feel and be loved no matter what's their size, colour, race, and differences. -
In today's society where the social medias and digital world have been dominating us, creating a whole new tag and standards for the word "beautiful" making it difficult for those who feel that they don't meet the standard and they'll feel insecure and left out ( I know that this is an internal problem for being insecure but we can't close our eyes that it's actually the society and their "made up" standards that have forced people in one way or another to feel inferior about themselves). Just because they fear judgement, mockery and hate that'll flow towards them if they're different, force them to conceal and hide their true abilities and colour just to match with the standard. That leads me to my second point of minding your words as words can be sharper than swords. It might not be a big deal for you but sometimes the words you said intentionally or unintentionally can always be hurtful. -
I personally am seldom when it comes to voicing out my thoughts cause I still experience hard times when it comes to judgment and the negativity, but since it's International Women's Day and thanks to @bellywellyjelly, I decided to voice out my thoughts! Spreading hate is contagious same as love but why be part of so much negativity just to be similar to the world? I choose to stand by the infamous side and stand firm in my decision that it's oke to be small but always remember to be part that uplift and bring positive impact to the surroundings and the world! Be different, Be You and of course Spread Love anywhere you go! .

Happy women's day!

Aku sebagai perempuan gak minta muluk - muluk, cuka kesamaan perlakuan antara wanita dan laki - laki. Dalam konteksku adalah sebagai orang Bali. Gak cuma wanita yang repot buat sesajen dan tetek bengeknya, lelaki pun turut membantu. Dalam menjaga anak, bukan hanya wanita bertugas mengganti popok. Kalau gak bisa, bantu dg hal lain.

Shout out buat teman2 yang demen bersolek, semoga kecaman wanita pemakai lipstick merah atau warna aneh lainnya gak dianggap wanita murahan lagi.

Selamat Hari Perempuan Internasional 8 Maret. Tahun ini, tema yang diambil adalah "Be Bold for Change". Tema ini diambil karena ketimpangan jender di seluruh dunia masih cukup besar. Forum Ekonomi Dunia (WEF) bahkan memprediksi ketimpangan itu baru akan berakhir pada tahun 2186.
Kasus kekerasan yang dialami perempuan dari tahun ke tahun terus meningkat, bahkan semakin kompleks. Sepanjang tahun 2016, dari sejumlah daftar kekerasan yang dihadapi perempuan, perkosaan berkelompok serta penganiayaan seksual disertai pembunuhan karena mereka perempuan (femisida) menjadi kasus yang menarik perhatian publik.
